Dr. TerryLynn Tennant brings more than three decades of dental experience to her work helping patients achieve healthier smiles and addressing sleep-related breathing concerns. As an associate dentist at Aesthetic Smiles, she works alongside Dr. Maryam Motlagh to provide thoughtful, individualized care, helping patients understand their options and feel confident about their treatment decisions.
With a background in comprehensive general dentistry and a particular interest in sleep and airway health, Dr. Tennant emphasizes conservative treatment planning and collaboration. Her approach considers the relationship between the teeth, bite, jaw structure, and oral function, bringing dental and medical perspectives together when patients need coordinated care.

Dr. Tennant graduated from Oregon Health & Science University in 1988. She began her career in Eugene, Oregon, where she provided general dental care for 20 years before developing a more concentrated focus on dental sleep medicine.

She joined Vivos Therapeutics as a clinical advisor in 2017 and has served as a clinical instructor and Clinical Advisory Board member, sharing her experience with other providers involved in sleep and airway-focused dental care.
Through these roles, she has helped mentor fellow clinicians in airway treatment protocols and interdisciplinary approaches to patient care.

Dr. Tennant’s collaborative work with Dr. Motlagh is documented in the 2024 article, “Myoaligner®: An Innovative Approach to Occlusion, TMD and Airway Treatment: A Case Study,” published in Advanced Dental Technologies & Techniques.
The article, authored by Dr. Motlagh, specifically credits Dr. Tennant with providing orthodontic expansion treatment using a Vivos DNA appliance as part of the patient’s coordinated care. Her contribution highlights the collaborative treatment planning available within the Aesthetic Smiles team.
